I've never made clothes before but I think this may be the start of another new obsession! Look! It even has piping and home made bias tape! I throw these terms around like I know what I'm talking about.. I'm still very new to all of this but loving every minute of experimenting and learning along the way.

This may be my favorite version of this dress!
What I found with the 3T version is that it is a loose almost baggy fit. My daughter wore it over a shirt so that looseness of the dress worked. Since babies proportions change as quickly as their clothing size, I would guess that a zipper or a snap or buttons would allow you to make a more fitted version. Zippers still intimidate me so I would probably go with snaps. Good luck.
