2011 Champions!

Matt and I play on this co-ed football team on the weekends. This team has been trying for the championship every season and comes very close every year. This year, we did it! We played 2 games back to back and it came down to the very last minute.
It was tied and went in to over time in which the most yardage wins.  The other team got the ball first. 2 incomplete passes and an interception by Matt shut them down. All we needed was 1 yard to win and that's what we did. It was close but we finally get to wear our championship shirts!!

Our team captain makes a highlight video every year and I'm sure my family is wanting to see it so I'll let you know when it's available. I'll probably post it on here.

Our softball team won 2 games Friday night, our football team won 2 games to be champions, and the Rangers won their first two games of the season against this years predicted WS champions. I'd say it's a great weekend for sports!
