Head: 14 inches? ahh I don't know. I don't pay much attention to that one. It's on the paperwork but I'm too lazy to go get it right now. Maybe I'll update this part some day.
Milestones: She's changed so much in the past month. She can really see much further away so she enjoys playing on her play-mat and loves sitting in her swing and watching the bird mobile above it. She's got pretty good head control now and enjoys "talking" with us. She coo's and smiles a lot.. mostly for Matt though. Oh, and she took her first bottle! Matt gave her one while I went to my follow up appointment with my midwife.
Sleep: For about a week or so we battled some nasal congestion. I think it was having the heater on and her nostrils just being so tiny and the cold weather... It was all a bad combination. Not being able to breathe makes it hard to sleep so she was back to sleeping on my chest with me propped up on pillows. I was so distraught over her congestion (though she didn't really seem phased by it - she was still eating fine and happy), I had Matt go buy the Nose Fredia, tried the humidified, and put saline in her nose frequently. Then I went all hippie (big surprise) and got into essential oils - rubbing certain cobos of them on her chest and feet and on me too since I became sick. Guess what? We got better!
She wakes up every 3-5 hours at night... even went 6 hours before. For an exclusively breastfed baby, that's pretty good!

We've also been working on sleeping in the crib for naps (instead of in my arms :) ) At night she sleeps in the bassinet by our bed.
Worst Moment: Probably feeling so helpless when she was sick and I couldn't "fix" her. Welcome to mommy-hood, right? I think I'll be feeling like this A LOT for the rest of my life.
Health: She's obviously a healthy little chunker! Aside from the congestion, which I've read and heard was very common in newborns, she's done great. She never ran a fever with that "cold".
Eating: No problem there! She's definitely got the hang of it. She still cluster feeds in the evening and eats every 1.5 - 3 hrs during the day.
Teeth: Nada.
Likes: Her dad! More like LOVES him. She gives him the biggest smiles when he gets home from work! She has become quite fond of sucking on her fist. She also loves her swing like I said earlier and loves to look at fans and lights. Now that I'm using her baby bathtub, she really enjoys baths too! She totally relaxes in there.
Dislikes: When I take her out of the bathtub, she's not so happy.
Other happenings:
- She's met lots of new people in the past month including sweet cousin Kaitlyn:

She's changed so much since that picture!
- She's helped me do some crafty things too! Like make some ornaments for family
- She got her first shot. But she so tough she didn't even cry! They let me nurse her while they gave it.
-She got presents in the mail: bows and dresses put a big smile on her face!
The first two months have been fun and full of changes. I'm looking forward to many more ahead!
