For those of you wanting to save money, I suggest signing up for all the freebies you can get! The blogs I follow (mainly moneysavingmom.com) will post where to sign up for free things. Most of the time Walmart, Costco, or Sam's will mail free products (memberships not always required).
Here are a few of the things I've received in the mail lately... completely free!
Dog food, samples of laundry detergent, toothpaste, deodorant, breath right strips, feminine products, and eye drops/contact solution. These things are great to stock your guest bathroom with. The laundry detergent would be great for vacations or just stock up so you can use it when you run out at home until a good deal comes around.
Yesterday, I attempted my first day of Black Friday shopping. I can't post some of the finds because they're Christmas gifts. But you better believe I stopped by my beloved CVS for some god deals. Here's what I got:
All of this should have costs about $30 which just seems absurd to me! Why would you ever pay full price for that!? I used a $5 off $25 purchase coupon that you can print from the website. I also printed a coupon from their website for a free CVS tooth brush. I love free!! and had coupons for the conditioners and toothpaste. I ended up paying $19.35 total. I earned $15.97 in ECBs (which work like cash there).
That's like getting all of this for $3.38!!!!
Anyone finding any good deals?
I'm off to do some Black Saturday shopping! Hoping to find some great deals on crafts and materials for the bedroom makeover!

I'm more excited about freebies today than ever! I've been stacking up ALL of this toothpaste, body wash, shampoo, floss, etc that I paid nothing for (either received in the mail or "purchased" it from our beloved CVS)...and I am finally able to use it! We are partnering with Communities in Schools (we being The Village) and we are donating boxes of home goods/foods for parents and clothes/toys for the kids from the "Giving Tree." I have enough stuff for two boxes! Makes all the couponing and signing up for freebies sooooo worth it!
Oops. That anonymous one was from me. Not trying to be some blog-commenting-ninja. Just hit "post" before I put my name in. =)
